Cooldown Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 22, 2026 · Developer: TEK Strategies

Cooldown reads your workouts from Apple Health so you can rename them, correct their distance and duration, and export them to services like Strava. This policy explains what data Cooldown accesses, where it goes, and your rights.

Data Cooldown Accesses

Apple Health / HealthKit

Your Edits (Renames, Corrections, Notes)

Connected Service Credentials

Data TEK Strategies Does NOT Collect

Cooldown has no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. TEK Strategies does not receive, store, or have access to your workouts, your edits, your Health profile data, or your connected-service credentials. If the app crashes, Apple's on-device MetricKit framework may produce a diagnostic report — those reports are stored only on your device and are shared with Apple solely according to your own iOS analytics settings, never with TEK Strategies. Nothing in Cooldown sends them anywhere; if you choose to email one to support, that is a step you take yourself.

Third-Party Services You Connect

Data is only ever sent off your device when you connect one of the following, and only to the service(s) you actually connect:

No other third-party services are used, and Cooldown never sends your data anywhere you haven't explicitly connected.

Purchases (Cooldown Pro)

Cooldown Pro is an optional in-app purchase — a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase — that unlocks sending workouts to connected services without limit. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms. TEK Strategies never sees your payment details; the app receives only an anonymous signal from Apple that Pro is active on your Apple Account. No Cooldown account is created. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your Apple Account settings, and refunds are handled by Apple. Everything else in Cooldown — your library, editing, merging, imports, share cards and local archive — works without Pro, and your data never depends on it.

Data Retention

All data — your Health overlay, settings, and connected-service credentials — is stored locally on your device. You can disconnect any service at any time from Cooldown's Connections screen, which removes its stored credentials. Uninstalling the app removes everything Cooldown has stored, including the Keychain entries.

Children's Privacy

Cooldown is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
